Sign up and copy your embed code

Create your BotDesk account, fill in your business details (services, hours, pricing, FAQs), and BotDesk generates a single embed snippet tied to your account.

Option A: Use a header/footer plugin (easiest)

Install a free plugin such as "Insert Headers and Footers" or "WPCode" from the WordPress plugin directory. Open it, paste your BotDesk snippet into the Footer box, and save.

Option B: Edit your theme footer directly

Go to Appearance > Theme File Editor > footer.php and paste the snippet just before the closing </body> tag. (If you use a child theme, edit that theme's footer.php.)

Save and reload your site

The BotDesk chat bubble appears in the bottom-right corner of every page. Click it to test — it'll answer using the info you entered during setup.
