Sign up and copy your embed code

Create your BotDesk account and fill in your business details (services, hours, pricing, FAQs). BotDesk generates a single embed snippet tied to your account.

⚠️ Don't type this by hand — copy the full snippet from your BotDesk dashboard. It includes your real API key plus your bot's name, color, and business info.

Open Project Settings in Webflow

In the Webflow Designer, click the gear icon (⚙️) in the left sidebar to open Project Settings, then navigate to the Custom Code tab.

Paste the snippet in Footer Code

Scroll down to the Footer Code field and paste your BotDesk script there. This inserts it just before the closing </body> tag on every page, which is the correct placement for chat widgets.

💡 Only want it on one page? Instead, click the gear icon next to a specific page in the Pages panel, scroll to Before </body> tag, and paste there instead.

Save and publish your site

Click Save Changes in Project Settings, then click Publish in the Designer and publish to your live domain. The BotDesk chat bubble now appears in the bottom-right corner of your site.
